A year at our school
"We’ve had such a positive experience at Belrose over the years. The sense of community is one of its biggest strengths. There are so many great opportunities on offer outside the classroom, from zone sport and PSSA competitions to dance groups and clubs.
The teachers are approachable and genuinely care about the kids, always encouraging them to do their best. We also really value the large playgrounds and sports fields – the open spaces make a huge difference in how the kids can play and interact. "I was welcomed by a beautiful group of kids. Most did not know me, but they looked beyond the fact that I was the dorky kid and let me into the friendship groups like I was there from the start.
They were caring, supportive, but most of all they were kind. It’s this kindness that has been wrapped around me like a big warm hug. I’m not sure the Year Five and Six girls even realise the effect they had on me, but it has just been what I needed."
